But I didn’t have the right system.
No model that actually improved my income sustainably.
No framework or mentor to help me focus on the keys to create more income, fulfillment, and options.
No consistent structure to reset and regain control.
I had goals, dreams and aspirations... I wanted more out of life.
I was “doing the work, being healthy, and hitting KPI's”, but I was exhausted trying to chase clarity, growth, and performance while secretly feeling stuck.
So I did what everyone else out there does in this situation.
I started looking for a way out.
I looked everywhere, and after months of frustration, I stumbled onto something almost by accident.
It wasn’t a therapist.
It wasn’t another mindset app.
I stumbled into a community of successful, 100% commission-based sales guys. Tucked inside a personal development course I paid way too much for. (It sucked by the way)
But a few of those guys? They were different.
They were "hacking" their sales jobs by living like high-performing athletes (on a budget)
Being in 100% commission sales, they wanted to maximize profits but build a life they didn’t hate, because every hour counted. Each call could mean the difference between making $200 or $2,000 in a day.
The key was to apply the Pareto Principle (known as the 80/20 principle - where 80% of your results will typicially come from only 20% of specific actions).
But they applied this 80/20 rule to EVERY area of their lives (inside and outside of work), like elite athletes.
This was a cool concept to me.
They were solving the root causes of their burnout, bad relationships and stalled commissions. Focusing on the 20% of actions that actually moved the needle.
Whether it was hormone related, motivation issues, poor personal life, or just pain old sh*tty sales processes...
They identified and change the core 20% to get the majority of changes.
It was clear, science-backed upgrades paired with proven behavioral systems.
They weren’t meditating on a mountain.
They weren’t stacking “hustle hacks.”
They used simple daily practices to systematically build real energy, mental clarity, and the confidence to grow.
They were using that clarity to:
• Sell with more certainty
• Recover faster from setbacks
• Build high-status networks and healthy relationships
• And earn more, with less wasted effort
This was a huge unlock for me.
Why hadn’t I connected the dots and doubled down on 80/20?
I had read this concept in so many books.
To deliberately apply 80/20 high performance strategies and focus protocols into my entire day-to-day life, not just to feel better, but to actually grow my income, freedom, and self-worth.
As I dug deeper, I found that most of these top-performing sales guys were just like me:
• They used to rely on willpower and caffeine
• They were buried in self-help noise
• They had ambition but no system
• They were secretly burned out every 3 months
The only difference?
They weren’t chasing more tactics.
They focused on the small % of high-impact habits that actually moved everything forward (whether at work or in their personal lives).
They weren’t chasing hype.
They weren’t “optimizing” every minute like a try-hard biohacker.
They tapped into the same principles high-stakes performers use: low-friction upgrades to build consistent sales performances, calm social confidence, and gained the freedom to choose which sales career paths they wanted.
And it finally clicked for me:
